About

A real home in East Riding of Yorkshire.

Allendale House is a small residential care home in the Holderness corner of East Yorkshire. The home is run by Ecatsue 2 Limited and registered with the Care Quality Commission. We're small on purpose — it means staff know every resident by name, and families always speak to someone who knows their relative.

Our approach

Our care principles, plainly.

Care at Allendale House is shaped by a small set of principles we try to live every day. They aren't slogans — they're how the home runs.

  1. 1

    Listen first

Assessments are built by listening — to residents, to staff who know them, and to families with an interest in how the home is run.

  2. 2

    Balance risk and need

Good care planning weighs real need against real risk, then supports responsible risk-taking in daily living.

  3. 3

    Review as life changes

Care plans are reviewed as things change, so the support on Tuesday fits the person on Tuesday — not the person we assessed six months ago.

  4. 4

    Family as partner

Families aren't an audience — they're partners in care. We keep you in the loop, and we welcome the awkward questions.
